His experience on the mission field included living in the Amazon rainforest for 12 years under the auspices of Mision de Cristo en Colombia. In chapter three you will read more about his background in farming, his pilgrimage from disease care to health care, and his years in agricultural missions. You will read about a paradigm change as he faced the challenges of soil management, human and animal nutrition, and the prevention and treatment of disease at all levels of creation. Presently, Dr. De Haan is involved in teaching and writing, while specializing in part-time health consultations and natural treatments in a clinical setting at his new home office in Kings Mountain, North Carolina.
